I know Kanye West is meglomaniac of comical proportions…but I really dig the fact that he is a total concept-buster. He is the most unconventional rap artist out there with a taste for art and trends that I really appreciate.
I love the video he released to promote his now-cancelled Kanye + Lady Gaga tour precisely because nobody else in the rap or hip-hop world would ever do something like this. Jay-Z may be the Chairman. But Kanye is an Artist.
Yep – I’m the 6.7 millionth person to have seen this video, and I got the link from my stepmother, so please…continue to visit this blog for the most up-to-date info out there. (Although it COMPLETELY cracks me up that the note she sent along with the video was to turn down the music while watching it because it’s “loud, annoying, and unnecessary.” You’ll laugh when you hear what it is.)
I thought the part about how 1/2 of what people learn in tech school is obsolete by the time they graduate. Jesus. My only beef is the dumb repetition of the “Did you know?” Did you know? DID YOU KNOW? enough.

The setup of the site is beautiful and stays true to its purpose – its there for you to watch videos. No sideways social media networks, online stores, blahbehty blah, though you can open an account to customize and personalize your channel list.

And by “more” I mean it took this guy 1500 hours to create this out of legos. If you divide that by 8 hours a day – I think that’s more than 6 months. WTF? I’m glad some people have figured out how to have the time to do this kind of stuff.
Though the idea isn’t super-new, I love how it starts and the camera angles they used. That said, I highly, highly recommend turning the sound off. Unless you like hanging out at discos in Bucharest. I’ve been there. I know what I’m talking about.
