Okay – I really don’t understand how people like this are elected to LEAD THIS COUNTRY. Seriously, people. I see bold, self-certain pronouncements like these from People In Charge that fly in the face of PROVEABLE science – and I’m flummoxed. It’s inexcusable and outrageous that these are a CONGRESSMAN’s opening comments in a Senate Subcommittee on Energy and Environment. The lunatic’s name is Rep John Shimkus and he’s from Illinois.
